I have some bad news for you. The swedish Sofia Arvidsson lost her semifinal against Simona Halep with 6-4, 6-3. In the final Simona Halep will be facing the third ranked favourite Agnieszka Radwanska

Swedish success in Brussels

Hello The swedish tennis player Sofia Arvidsson has gone to the semifinal in the Brussels WTA- tournament. She won her quarterfinal against Urszula Radwanska ( Agnieszka Radwanskas little sister) with 7-5, 6-4. In the semifinal she will be meetng either Dominika Cibulkova or Simona Halep.

Kim Clijsters quits after US open

Hello Unfortunately I have some bad news for you. The belgian superstar Kim Clijsters revealed that the US open will be her last tour and this season is going to be her last. Thus is sad news for all the tennis fans out there, but we wish her the best of luck

Serena Williams to semifinal

Serena Williams won her quarterfinal today against Sabine Lisick due to a walk over. Sabine lisick had to quit the game due to a foot injury.

In the semifinal she might be face up agianst her own sister - Venus Williams.

If Venus wins her quarterfinal against Samantha Stocur we will have a real intresting semifinal with the Williams sisters.

Happy new year !

Ye I know., its a little bit late. But anyway.

This tennis yaer started with a huge upset when the defending titleholder in Doha - Rafeal Nadal lost the semifinal to the frenchmen Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-4.

In the final Monfils will meet another frenchmen- Wilfred Tsonga who defeated Stefan Edberg !

The old tennislegend replaced the third ranked Roger Federer who had to withdraw due to a back injuy.
